1990
Brother Rizza Islam is a dynamic and passionate leader who has devoted his life to educating, uplifting, and motivating people by addressing issues of concern to the community and providing viable solutions throughout America and around the globe.
Rizza was born and raised in Compton, California and his passion for teaching was sparked very early. Being the youngest of 10 children he witnessed everything from police brutality to gang banging to drug abuse all within and around his family. As a result of being exposed to the harsh realities that his people faced he began his career at the early age of 9!
Starting in Compton, training to be a classroom instructor Rizza chose to get involved with community work. By 13, he was running his own classroom, training youth and adults in Morals, Ethics, Communication skills, literacy, drug Education, and many other topics designed to assist students to make better choices in life.
